Jessica's Philosophy

There are so many moments in a child’s life that we may notice fleetingly, but soon forget: the way their little hands fumble with their shoelaces, the way they hold their mouth when they are thinking about something, their eyes when they are excited. I believe the purpose of family photography is to capture these little moments so you can look at them years in the future and remember not just what your child looked like, but what made them so special and unique.

I want to spend time with your family and let your kids get comfortable around me so I can catch those little moments. I want you to look at my pictures years in the future and be transported back to this time right now.

I keep the amount of portraits I do relatively small because I want to focus on each and every family – I don’t just show up and snap a few pictures, I come over to play! When kids relax and forget they are having their picture taken is when I can really get the images that transcend photographs and become memories.
